Let's Work Together

Solid State Logic (SSL) are the world’s leading manufacturer of creative tools for music, live sound, and broadcast. They were seeking a new eCommerce store to improve online engagement, align with their current branding, and streamline user journeys between their main site and online store. Also, SSL needed a backend system that supported ongoing marketing efforts, finance, and admin workflows without complexity or downtime.

Refreshing our Store was key for meeting our growth targets. From the planning to the execution, Miramar made the entire journey seamless. The site looks great, and it’s so easy for our teams to use the store from the backend, too. We are already seeing some fantastic results.

What was delivered for SSL

As Technical Director at Miramar Agency for this project,
I oversaw and led the UX/UI design, development and QA efforts to deliver the new eCommerce solution for SSL.

What was delivered:

  • A custom PrestaShop eCommerce site complete with features to improve user experience such as multi-currency and multi-language support.
  • The eCommerce store was fully scalable, inline with SSL’s business ambitions
  • Users from the old store were imported to ensure no leads were lost, and so that they could be contacted about the new store
  • The backend was customised so that SSL can link a product from their main website to a page on the store for a seamless customer journey. This also gave SSL great flexibility and control over how a product page on the store displays, unlocking greater content control capabilities, and reducing the learning curve for their team with a new platform.
